NAAFI Exchange Migration
From an existing setup of 4 NT4 Domain Controllers and 3 Exchange 5.5 servers across 3 sites in the UK and Germany the project was to upgrade the entire infrastructure to Windows Server 2003 and Exchange 2003. This involved the migration of 470 users to Active Directory, migrating 600 mailboxes to Exchange 2003 as well as upgrading 300 workstations and 50 servers to the new 2003 Domain.
ISA 2004 was integrated with Exchange 2003 to allow Outlook Web Access for email. The project had to be a staged migration with full interoperability between the 2 systems for the duration of the migration and was achieved with no downtime.
