Concorde Informatics Limited, based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire is delighted to announce the appointment of Colin Meakin to the board as Business Development Director. Meakin was a founder member of ICM Computer Group plc and spent 17 years as Group Sales Director before leaving in 2007 to join Concorde. Tasked with further developing Concorde's services and customer base, Meakin will play a leading role in strengthening Concorde's core abilities both locally and nationally. As a leading IT Reseller and Managed Services provider this has set a new milestone in Concorde's 23 year history by appointing its first Executive Director from a rival company.

Speaking earlier, Bob Steventon, Concorde's joint founder and Chairman commented, "We have always recognized ICM's growth record particularly in its services business. We became aware of Colin's availability only very recently and felt that the opportunity to acquire someone with his experience, knowledge and track record was too good to overlook." Meakin was responsible for the creation, growth and management of a 70 plus strong nationwide sales team and played a major part in the evolving portfolio of Managed Services. Steventon added, "Concorde has long been regarded as a quality IT Services provider with its unique brand of personal service tailored to the customers needs. We're looking forward to having Colin in our well established team."
